My name is Joanna Nunez, and I am the CEO/founder of BooksUp. As a first-generation entrepreneur, single mother of three, and future doctor, I embody resilience and determination. Growing up as the daughter of a small business owner, I learned early on the dedication and resilience required to manage a successful business. Inspired by my father's teachings, I have dedicated myself to helping as many small businesses as possible achieve success.

During the COVID pandemic, we witnessed small businesses leveraging social media to create new income streams. This adaptability inspired me to introduce BooksUp, a company focused on helping small business owners legitimize their startup ventures.
